Take the following steps if your Fargo C30 is displaying a mag verify error:

Run a magnetic self test from the printer to eliminate your computer or software

Try different cards

Ensure that the coercivity setting in the driver is set correctly

Run magnetic encoding tests from the Fargo Diagnostic tool

Update the printer’s firmware to the latest on Fargo’s Website

Clean the rollers and mag head with 99% isopropyl alcohol

Insert a card to print the front side

Flip the card over and re-insert it into the printer to print the back side

Please handle the cards by the edges when flipping the cards. Failure to do so may result in print quality issues.

Your printer is a single-sided printer and you wish to activate it in two-sided mode.
To do this, obtain the activation key for the flip-over module.

Carry out the following procedure to activate your printer in two-sided mode:
Your printer must be powered on and active (not in standby mode).

Open the printer cover.
Remove the ribbon from the printer if present.
Take your activation key and insert it in the location provided.
Close the cover. The 3 LEDs on the control panel start flashing one after the other for between 5 and 10 seconds.
Activation has finished and is successful when the 3 LEDs remain lit for several seconds then turn off.
Open the printer cover and remove the activation key. Put the ribbon back.
Close the cover.

Before starting the installation, plug the Primacy printer into your Mac and make sure you are logged with the Administrator rights.

Run the driver installation

Open System Preferences and click on Print and Fax

Click on the + tab to add the printer

Choose the Evolis Primacy

Select Printer Software

Choose The English Version of the driver and then click OK.

The installation is Complete
