HID Workbench software does not communicate with printer.
Using HID Workbench v18.104.22.168 and .NET Framework v4.5.1 in Windows 7 Enterprise SP1 64-bit. DTC4500 and DTC550 show as being offline. When going into the printer properties in Windows and selecting either Card > Toolbox or Card > Toolbox > Advanced Settings, the following message is received: "Attention! Unable to read settings from the printer." Have re-installed Workbench software, .NET Framework, and tried multiple USB ports. HID tech support says this is a local rights issue, but I have admin rights. Can anything alse be done?
