Take the following steps calibrate your Fargo DTC550 ribbon sensor from the printer menu.
Press the Menu Button
Scroll down to Set Up Printer and press select
Use the down arrow to scroll down to sensor calibration and press select
Press select and the ribbon sensor will be calibrated
