Question: Can I upgrade my Magicard Rio Pro to a dual sided printer?
Answer: Yes, and it is extremely simple.
You can purchase a special YMCKOK ribbon that has an RFID chip in it that unlocks the dual sided capability of your Magicard Rio Pro.
Step 1: Power up your printer
Step 2: Open the lid and remove any dye film that may be installed in the printer
Step 3: Load the special dye film supplied with your upgrade kit (Part#3633-0052)
Step 4: Close the lid
Step 5: The display now shows “Duo”. You can now print dual sided cards
It’s that simple!
