Fargo recently introduced their new line of printers. The DTC1000 and DTC4000 ribbons are compatible with the older C30 and DTC400 Printers after the printer firmware is updated. You may download the work bench and firmware from Fargo’s website.
The DTC1000 ribbons are backward compatible to the C30/C30e.
DTC4000 ribbons are backward compatible to the DTC400/400e.
The older ribbons are not forward compatible with the DTC1000 and DTC4000.
