Take the following steps to test the magnetic encoder on a Evolis Zenius Expert:
Open the Evolis Print Center
Double Click on the Zenius Printer
Click on Maintenance. Click on Magnetic encoding prompting
Click the check box on each track. Enter some mag data.
Track 1 is Alpha Numeric. Track 2 and 3 are Numeric only. No spaces are allowed.
Click on Encode Tracks ( A card will be inserted and encoded)
If the card encoded properly the answer should be OK as shown below
Click on the read tracks tab and the printer will read the mag track and populate the data as shown below
Click eject card
