Take the following steps to run a Magnetic Self Test on a Fargo DTC550 printer
Ensure that you have Hi Co mag cards properly loaded
Press the menu button on the front panel of the printer
Select Print Test Image
Use the down arrow key to select Magnetic Test
A card will be encoded and ejected
Use an external mag reader to verify the encoded card in note pad
