Check the ribbon balance using the left LED button on the front panel of the printer
Check the installed state of the ribbon into the ribbon cartridge
If the ribbon is broken, tape it back together and reinstall it
Clean the Color In/Out sensor with a cleaning swab as seen below
Update the printer driver and firmware to the latest on the IDP website
MY PRINTER EVOLIS PRIMACY SHOWED A MESSAGE SAYING THAT ” COMPATIBILITY PROBLEM BETWEEN RIBBON AND PRINTOUT PLEASE CONTACT YOUR RESALLER AFTER THAT MESSAGE. PRINTER IS OFFLINE EVEN IF I HAVE CHANGED THE USB CABLE I UNINSTALLED AND INSTALLED AGAIN BUT STILL SHOWING THAT IT IS OFF-LINE WHAT CAN I DO TO SOLVE THIS ISSUE?
What is the serial number of the printer? What’s the part number of the ribbon you’re trying to use? Have you updated to the most recent firmware?
